Chapter VI of the BNS replaces Chapter XVI of the IPC. While the core definitions of Murder and Culpable Homicide remain similar, the section numbering has shifted significantly (e.g., IPC 302 is now BNS 103). New provisions for Organized Crime and Hit-and-Run have also been integrated.
